I have been around for a long time. I believe I have learned many lessons from people who preceeded me. I have learned from their mistakes and from more than a few of my own. I hope to be able to pass on to people I care about much of what I have learned. I marvel about the absence of common sense in the world today. I am disappointed most of the time in most of  the people in political power. Like many of the people I talk to, and hear from, I have hope, want to be optimistic, and want to be forward thinking while seeking guidance from our history.
